Jill AND Mary

Jillian Norel Hennessy (born 25th November, 1968) is an Canadian actor, performer and singer who had a major impact on American television. Her work has received praise for her outstanding performances in the American TV show Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons. She also appeared on Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy was also able to showcase her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she created and directed these movies. Her acting career started in 1988, when she and her twin sister were the characters in Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Then in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she appeared as the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break came after the season ended, when she was cast as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. The three-season run in the character was well-loved by viewers. The show ended in 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker is well-known for her performances in movies as well as television series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side and the West Wing Angels of America. The actress was awarded a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and the Emmy Award. Parker was also honored with an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her performance in the role of Proof on Broadway.
