Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian Actress best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te is enamoured. Her other talents include being a model who is successful and also a dancer. She was born in Montreal, she was brought up in Texas. She has always enjoyed performing. In her early years she started to train in diverse forms of dance. When she was 15 years old, she started taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she competed in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010 she made her debut on stage as a receptionist for the Telemundo television show Aurora. The first film she appeared in was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015. In the film, for her role as Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
